Exciting News: New Emergency Response Vehicle Coming Soon

After nearly three years of planning and development, our long-awaited new emergency response vehicle is set to arrive next week. This state-of-the-art F550 4x4 Brain Chief XL will be equipped with advanced features to enhance our service to the community. Once the vehicle’s radios and other necessary equipment are installed, and training for the new Hallam 11 team is complete, it will be ready for action.

To celebrate the arrival of the new unit, we are considering hosting an open house where members of the community can come and see the vehicle firsthand. Details about this event are still being finalized, but we are excited to offer the public an opportunity to get a closer look at this cutting-edge addition to our fleet.

The new vehicle has been custom ordered to meet our specific needs and expectations, and we can’t wait to put it to work in the field. As part of the upgrade, it will feature a self-loading cot/stretcher, purchased through North Central Emergency Vehicles. This new tool will help improve efficiency and ease the physical strain on our emergency responders during transport.

Meanwhile, the old unit is currently under contract with a company in Texas, where it will be delivered to another service once the new vehicle is fully operational.
